 On Saturday, August 2, Anza’s local radio station, Anza Community Broadcasting KOYT 97.1FM hosted their tenth annual membership meeting at Minor Park. The event was open to the public with live music, food, games and raffles for all ages.

Live music was performed during the event by Idyllwild musicians Francesca Brown, who sang a solo set of original country music, and the duo Astro-Knots (Dave & Tony, also Idyllwild residents) performed their experimental mix of pop-rock and progressive instrumentals. Members and volunteers received free drinks, hot dogs and burgers.

generously created and donated by the Anza Quilt Club. Even the stitching is musical notes! As well as many gift card giveaways from local businesses.

KOYT Radio will be presenting their 4th annual benefit ‘Wine & Dine’ fundraiser during the evening of Saturday, August 30 at the Rancho del Sol Vineyard, here in Anza. This year’s event is titled ‘Savor Spain’ and will feature tapas appetizers, dinner and dessert that represents the vibrant Spanish culture.
